Trickling Filters Australia provide a number of products with varying applications within the water and wastewater industry. Our partnership with ENEXIO ensures that we have access to the latest water technologies and the knowledge to accompany successful implementations.

Retrofit 2H BIOdek® IFAS systems combine the advantages of fixed film technology with conventional activated sludge systems. It is able to increase the treatment efficiency of conventional activated sludge systems through providing a larger surface area for biological flocs to develop and treat the wastewater. This technology removes the need to add additional activated sludge tanks to improve treatment efficiency.

At Trickling Filters Australia, we are able to facilitate the design and construction of 2HBIODEK ® IFAS systems to meet your individual sizing constraints and project requirements.

Features and benefits:

  • Increase of sludge-age and active biomass without additional tanks
  • Simple retrofitting under operation
  • Plug and play modular design
  • High surface area of biofilm growth
  • Environmentally friendly impact and aging resistant PP

Products

2HBIODEK ®- IFAS SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS

2H BIOdek IFAS (Integrated Fixed Film Activated Sludge) offers a performance increase of up to 40% without new aeration tanks. 2H BIOdek® IFAS adds high surface media to an activated sludge basin. On this media additional biomass will grow, increasing the operative sludge age and achieving a higher level of performance.

GEOdek® infiltration boxes provide an opportunity to collect and manage stormwater without the need for uncovered surfaces. The technology allows for a strong and safe method of collecting and releasing stormwater, while providing flood resistance for sealed surfaces.

Features and benefits:

  • Tailored depending on application
  • Decreases risk of flooding and poor wastewater treatment
  • Available in seven strength types
  • Can also be used for rainwater harvesting and infiltration of treated effluents

Products

2H GEOdek®

GEOdek® infiltration boxes store excess stormwater and release it afterwards. Made from Polypropylene, they exhibit exceptional strength and are resistant to all chemicals normally found below ground. GEOdek® can be used under sealed surfaces such as streets and parking lots. 7 standard types cover requirements for different types of loads.

2H BIOdek ® media with tubular design is specifically designed to aid in the removal of oil, fat and hydrocarbons from water throughout biological water treatment and nitrification processes.

Features and benefits:

  • High contact surface and channel shape
  • High resistance to blockage achieved by an open hexagonal shape
  • Long service life provided by reinforced edges and non-aging materials
  • High bearing capacity due to freely selectable material thickness

Products

2H BIODEK ® MEDIA WITH TUBULAR DESIGN

BIOdek® media with tubular design is specifically constructed for the use in biological water treatment and nitrification, using contact aeration and for the separation of oil, fat and hydrocarbons. The design specifications consist of uniform parallel pipes (tubes) in a hexagonal shape making the BIOdek® easy to clean and resistant to blockages.

BESE Elements® are a starch-based product which are designed to create a temporary structure to allow organisms to grow and create a stronger foundational structure for younger organisms to settle on. The product then breaks down over time to allow organic structures to continue growing independently. This technology has a wide range of applications; however it is most commonly used for growing organic structures to assist with bank stabilisation.

Features and benefits:

  • Environmentally friendly, sustainable material
  • Made from potato starch
  • Carbon neutral and non-toxic
  • Biodegradable and digestible

Products

2H BESE-Elements®

BESE-Elements ® provide  a  solid  3-D  grid  structure  that  can  be  used  as  a  starting  point  for  restoration  of  ecosystems,  like  mussel  and  oyster  beds,  seaweed,  coral  reefs  and  many  more. Made  of  starch  from  potato  waste  these  BESE-Elements® degrade  under environmental  influences  and  do  not  need  composting  agents  or  specific  temperatures.
